Visa Information

Please note that the hours for the Visa Section at the Consulate-General of Japan at Houston are 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm －4:30pm (Monday － Friday except holidays). You can drop off and pick up documents during this time.
Applications for visa are also accepted by mail. When processing your application by mail, please include a self-addressed postage paid return envelope via traceable mail (ex. Fedex, UPS, U.S. Express Mail). A disclaimer must also be included with visa applications sent by mail. Notice: when you pay visa fee by money order, please make payable to "Consulate of Japan".- Link to sample disclaimer
