Not unlike the state of Texas, Oklahoma has formed many sister city relationships with cities all over Japan. The City of Stillwater and Kameoka City have been sister cities since 1985 and 2012 marks the 20th year anniversary of the sister city relationship between the City of Tulsa and Utsunomiya City, Tochigi prefecture.
