Consulate-General of Japan in Houston

The Tokyo String Quartet performed its last concert at Stude Concert Hall, Rice University on September 20, 2012. The Tokyo String Quartet has visited Houston every year since 1976. The Mayor of Houston Annise Parker proclaimed the day as “Tokyo String Quartet Day” in commemoration of the friendship between Houston and the Tokyo String Quartet for 36 years.
