Consul-General Takaoka met San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro on October 17, 2013
| On Thursday, October 17th, Mayor Julián Castro personally met Consul-General Nozomu Takaoka to discuss the Mayor's upcoming trip to Japan. During the meeting, Mayor Castro graciously said the city is always looking for ways to grow its relationship with the Japanese community and business interests. The Mayor will travel to Japan at the end of the month to meet Japanese business executives and parliamentary members. He will also speak at the 11th annual Asian-Pacific City Summit in Kumamoto City, Japan with which San Antonio has a long sister city relationship. |
