On Wednesday, November 13, Consul-General Takaoka visited Sanden International, Inc. The company which was founded in 1974 manufactures automotive air conditioning compressors at its headquarters in Wylie, Texas.
In addition to a briefing of company activities from COO Jimmye Phaup and company management, Consul-General Takaoka took a tour of the factory and observed the compressor manufacturing process. Sanden is a company with a long history as a leader in American compressor manufacturing.
