On Wednesday, December 11th Consul-General Nozomu Takaoka paid a courtesy call on The Honorable Annise Parker, Mayor of the City of Houston. Consul-General Takaoka congratulated Mayor Parker on her successful re-election to office and updated the mayor on the activities of Japanese companies and organizations in the greater Houston area. Mayor Parker welcomed Consul-General Takaoka to Houston and expressed her wish for the continued strengthening of ties between Japan and the City of Houston. |
