The Chiba City Council Members visited SATAKE USA (April 14, 2014)

Three Chiba City Council Members, Hon. Hiroaki Kawamura, Hon. Toshiyuki Ogawa and Hon. Satoshi Abe, and Consul General Takaoka visited the SATAKE USA facility on Monday, April 14th, 2014.
 
SATAKE USA was established in Houston in 1980. The 60,000 square foot facility is to design, develop, manufacture and service sophisticated equipment such as color sorting machines and optical sorters used by its Vision Systems customers. 

Vision Systems employees provide sales and service to all of the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

SATAKE USA has corporate offices in Stafford, Texas, and a branch office in Modesto, California.  SATAKE USA also has subsidiaries in Canada and England. From the corporate offices, shipments of Vision Systems products are made to all parts of the world.

From the headquarters in Texas, they also provide engineering and consulting services used by their rice processing and cereal milling customers. The SATAKE USA facility also generates approximately 140 jobs in Texas.
