On April 27th and 28th, Councilor Hirofumi Nakasone visited San Antonio for the first time and met Mayor Julian Castro with Consul General Takaoka. Mr. Nakasone remarked at the beauty of the city of San Antonio and expressed his wish to encourage exchange between Japanese and American members of the parliament as the Japan-US Parliamentary Friendship League President. Mayor Castro, who visited Japan in last November, was happy to meet Mr. Nakasone again and stated his hope for further promotion of the relationship between Japan and San Antonio.
