On February 19, Consul-General Takaoka delivered a lecture at a dinner with members of American Jewish Committee (AJC) Houston Chapter. In the beginning, Associate Development Director Matt Khan spoke about the importance of the relationship between Japan and Israel and AJC's relations with Japan. Mr. Khan then introduced Consul-General Takaoka, who delivered a lecture on Japan's economic situation and security policy, the Japan's relationship with Texas and Jewish people. After his lecture, he enjoyed a lively Q & A session and a frank conversation with participants.
