On April 16, Consul-General Takaoka attended the opening reception for the IINO LINES Office in Houston. There were approximately 120 people at the reception including Mr. Tadashi Takasugi, President of Japan Business Association of Houston. In the opening remarks, Mr. Tomoyuki Sekine, President of IINO LINES expressed his wish for the further expansion of its business in the United States through the new office in Houston. Consul-General Takaoka gave his congratulations, and noted that the choice of Houston by IINO LINES was another solid proof that the state of Texas occupies a pivotal position in the increasing business and trade relationship between Japan and United States.(Link)
