On November 30, Consul General Takaoka attended the inauguration ceremony for the Japan Airlines (JAL) non-stop flight between Narita and Dallas/Fort Worth at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. JAL Chairman Masaru Onishi, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, CEO of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Chairman and CEO of American Airlines Doug Parker also attended the ceremony.
Consul General Takaoka stated that this inauguration will deepen the bilateral and represents a promising future for Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas and Japan. Chairman Onishi stated that the Dallas/Fort Worth region is a strategic addition to Japan Airline’s growing network and more convenience and travel options can be offered to customers travelling to and from Japan and beyond (link).
This JAL’s non-stop flight between Narita and Dallas/Fort Worth is currently operated 4 days a week and considered to become daily service from March 22nd, 2016. Its joint business partner American Airlines also operates two daily non- stop flights. |
