On August 20, Consul General Naganuma visited Chiba-based Weathernews Inc.’s Oklahoma Service Center in Norman, Oklahoma, to observe and discuss the various services the center offers using real-time weather and ocean forecasts.
During the discussion, Amy Buhl, General Manager (Europe/America), Sea Business Division, explained that the company contributes to the safe and economical operation of ships and aircrafts, leveraging its global network, in close cooperation with the University of Oklahoma and the National Weather Center, both renowned for their research in weather and marine meteorology.
