Consul-General Fukushima made a courtesy visit to Mayor Nirenberg of San Antonio (August 6, 2018)

On August 6, 2018, Consul-General of Japan in Houston Mr. Hideo Fukushima made a courtesy visit to Mayor Nirenberg of San Antonio.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the sister city relationship between the cities of San Antonio and Kumamoto.

They reaffirmed, among other things, the importance of international employee exchanges and the establishment of Japanese companies in San Antonio to further strengthen and develop the cities' relationship.

Consul-General Fukushima also made a courtesy visit to Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai later on.
