On September 26th, Consul-General Fukushima hosted a dinner and exchanged opinions with members of the American Jewish Association (AJC) in collaboration with AJC Houston.
The dinner was a part of the exchange activities with the diplomatic corps planned by the AJC Houston. Japan is recognized as historically important country.
CG Fukushima touched upon the humanitarian achievement of Mr. Chiune Sugihara, known as "Schindler of Japan". In addition, AJC participants agreed CG Fukushima's desire to further strengthen the long lasting friendly cooperative relationship between Japan and Jewish community.
