Consul-General Fukushima paid a courtesy call to the Honorable Steve Adler, Mayor of the City of Austin　（November 9, 2018）

On November 9th, Mr. Hideo Fukushima, Consul-General of Japan in Houston, paid a courtesy call to the Honorable Steve Adler, Mayor of the City of Austin.

During their meeting, Consul-General Fukushima and Mayor Adler reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the relationship between Japan and Austin, which has become increasingly well-known in recent years not just as the capital of the state, but also as a hub of economic and cultural activity, in addition to a sister-city relationship flourishing for nearly three decades between the cities of Austin and Oita.
