Fulbright Memorial Fund Program

Every year since 1997, school teachers and administrators representing each of the fifty states and the District of Columbia visit Japan as participants on the Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program. Six hundred program participants are divided into three groups and each 200-member-group visits Japan for a few weeks in June, October or November every year.

The Japan Foundation

The Japan Foundation is an organization for international cultural exchange. It carries out a broad variety of cultural exchange programs and provides grants in the fields of Japanese studies, Japanese-language education, the arts, etc.

The Laurasian Institute

The Laurasian Institute is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1990. They offer grants to send teaching teams and students to Japan on a short-term fellows program and bring Japanese staff to international organizations in the United States to promote international exchange.
