Citizens of the Visa Fee exempt countries are exempt from paying fees (no charge).
Visa Fees must be paid with CASH.Please bring the exact amount.
Personal checks, money orders and credit cards are not accepted.
Effective July 1st, 2026, visa fee amounts will be adjusted as follows:
※Regarding Changes to the Transit Visa Category
⚫ Effective July 1st, 2026, we will no longer issue transit visas.
⚫ If you will be transiting through Japan during your travel, you will need to
apply for a short-term stay visa.
⚫ Applicants will now be eligible to apply for a single-entry visa for the
purpose of transit through the online eVISA system.
⚫ This change applies to all situations which require travelers to pass through
immigration at a Japanese airport, including:
➢ Flying with an airline that requires travelers to pass through immigration
when changing to a connecting flight
➢ Transferring from one Japanese airport to another Japanese airport
➢ Leaving the airport departure area for any purpose/any amount of time
