Consul General Murabayashi’s Courtesy Call to Plano Mayor Muns

On January 25, Consul General Murabayashi paid a courtesy call to the Mayor of Plano, Mr. John Muns. Plano is the location that Toyota North America chose to move its headquarters to in 2017, and it is one of the most well-known cities for Japanese companies investing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
At the meeting, Mayor Muns stressed his wish to attract more Japanese companies to invest in Plano, following the move of Toyota North America and its related partner companies. Consul General Murabayashi noted that Plano continues to be an appealing destination for Japanese companies thanks to its excellent business climate, high living standards, and quality educational options.
During his stay in Plano, Consul General Murabayashi also visited the headquarters of Toyota North America.
