Consul General Murabayashi meets with Congressman Randy Weber

　　　On February 23, Consul General Murabayashi met at the Consulate with Congressman Randy Weber, U.S. House Representative for Texas' 14th Congressional District. At the meeting, Consul General Murabayashi told him that the number of Japanese companies in Texas has increased rapidly in recent years, and explained the state of electric power in Japan since the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011. Congressman Weber suggested that it would be good for Japan to utilize more LNG from Texas for its electric power production.
