Sun & Star Legacy Award Dinner
On April 22, Consul General Naganuma attended the annual “Sun & Star Legacy Award Dinner” hosted by the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of Japan-U.S. relations.
In his remarks, Consul General praised the dedication and accomplishments of awardees Jun Sawada, NTT President & CEO and Masahiro Ikeno, US-Japan Council Executive Director and former NEC Corporation of America President. He also referenced Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s recent address during the Joint Meeting of the United States Congress, and emphasized the importance of the Japan-U.S. relationship as the global community reaches a historic turning point.
