Discussion with Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick

On May 22nd, Consul General Naganuma met and exchanged opinions with Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick.
Consul General highlighted the presence of a Japanese Language Advancement School of Dallas in Carrollton that is attended by many Japanese children in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and expressed gratitude for the city’s support for the school. In response, Mayor Babick stated that the City of Carrollton was pleased to host the school and would continue to offer its support.
Mayor Babick and Consul General Naganuma also exchanged views on how to further develop economic relations between Japan and Carrollton.
