On August 16, Mr. Miura, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Health, Labor and Welfare, visited Houston Medical Center. He visited MD Anderson Cancer Center Hospital and Methodist Hospital, and received briefings from Dr. Konishi and Dr. Nigo on the latest medical treatments at each hospital. After that, he was briefed on medical situation at Houston Medical Center by Dr. Fukuta of Baylor College of Medicine.
