Reception to honor the Space Community in Houston

On January 16, Consul-General of Japan in Houston, Mr. Zentaro Naganuma hosted a reception at the official residence to honor the Space Community in Houston, which supported activities of the Consulate-General of Japan in 2024. This reception was attended by space professionals from NASA, JAXA, and other organizations. At the beginning of the reception, Consul General Naganuma thanked the U.S. side, including NASA, for their continued understanding and cooperation in the space field between Japan and the United States. He then expressed his hope for further strengthening of Japan-U.S. relations in the future.
U.S. and Japanese Astronaut, such as NASA Astronaut Kjell Lindgren and JAXA Astronaut Akihiko Hoshide and were in attendance as well, contributing to a very pleasant reception.
