Attending the event 「Sun & Star Legacy Award 2025」 hosted by Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth

On May 23, Consul General Naganuma visited Dallas to attend the “Sun & Star Legacy Award Dinner 2025” hosted by the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth.
In his remarks, Consul General Nagano highlighted the remarkable developments of the North Texas region, including the City of Fort Worth reaching a population of one million and the establishment of the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ headquarters in Dallas, and encouraged further strengthening of Japan-U.S. relations throughout the vibrant region.
At the event, Doug Moore, former president of Fujitsu North America, and Elaine Browning, former executive director of the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, were honored for their long-standing contributions to promoting friendship and goodwill between Japan and the United States.
The Consulate-General of Japan in Houston highly values the contributions of the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth to the advancement of Japan-U.S. relations and is committed to continuing to support their activities.
