On May 23, Consul General Naganuma visited the City of Arlington and had discussions with Mayor Jim Ross.
Consul General Naganuma congratulated Mayor Ross on Arlington being selected to host nine of the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches and expressed hope that this opportunity would serve as a catalyst to enhance exchanges between Japan and the Dallas/Fort Worth region .
