Meeting with Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo

  On October 7th, Consul General Naganuma welcomed Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and representatives of the Greater Houston Partnership to his residence. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the economic cooperation between Japan and Harris County, including activities and investments of Japanese companies in the area. Judge Hidalgo expressed her admiration for the contributions of Japanese companies in the United States, including Harris County. She also emphasized her intention to further strengthen the relationship between Japanese companies and Harris County, and mentioned her intention to cooperate for the safety of Japanese residents.
