On October 21st, Consul General Naganuma visited Freeport LNG development facility, which is jointly funded by Osaka Gas and JERA. During his visit, he received briefings on the facility's operations, its relationship with Japanese companies such as Osaka Gas and JERA, its establishment, and the current LNG production status, while also touring the facilities.
This facility not only serves as one of Japan's crucial LNG import hubs but also supplies LNG to countries including Europe. It plays a significant role as one of the major LNG export terminals in Texas.
