Revision of the “Directory of Japanese-Affiliated Companies in Texas”

The Consulate-General of Japan in Houston and JETRO Houston have revised the Directory of Japanese-Affiliated Companies in Texas (English edition), originally published in 2020. The directory provides contact information and business overviews for approximately 120 Japanese-affiliated companies headquartered in Japan with operations in Texas. The companies are organized by region: Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso/Laredo/McAllen.
Texas has been one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States in recent years, supported by its vast land area, strong access to domestic and international markets, and abundant natural resources, as well as continued population growth, a business-friendly tax environment, and a relatively low cost of living. Japanese companies have established more business locations in Texas than companies from any other country and have contributed to the local economy through employment and the provision of high-quality products and services. As a result, interest in Japanese companies among local governments, economic organizations, and businesses in Texas has continued to grow, and there has been strong demand for updated information since the publication of the 2020 edition.
We hope that this revised directory will be widely used, further strengthen economic ties between Texas and Japan, and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
