On October 6, Consul-General Koyama attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for TOYO SOLAR’s newly expanded factory in Humble, Texas.
The ceremony was also attended by distinguished guests including U.S. Under Secretary Jeffrey Kessler, Congressman Christian D. Menefee, and TOYO Chairman & CEO Takahiko Onozuka.
In his remarks, Consul-General Koyama stated that TOYO Solar’s initiative is a brilliant example of driving local prosperity by creating high-quality jobs and valuable workforce development opportunities, while embodying the strength of the Japan-U.S. economic partnership
The Consulate General of Japan in Houston will continue to actively support Japanese companies.
